The Best of Fall

Autumn is my favorite season of the year; so naturally, there are things about it that I just cannot get enough of. Not only is Fall sprinkled with perfect weather and trees with beautiful, changing colors, but the food has never been better. My favorite treat during the Fall is my mom’s pumpkin snicker doodle dip. All of the food is either warm or pumpkin spiced—the perfect combination!

Another fall favorite of mine is the clothing. You can bundle up in light layers, or throw on an oversized, knit sweater. Either way, you are bound to look comfortable and cute! Also, let’s not forget the limited time, $1 Halloween themed socks you can buy from Target. It’s the little things that keep us happy, right?

Since I am a huge outdoor enthusiast, my preferred thing to do in the cool weather is backpack. Autumn is a wonderful time to opt outside and be alone with yourself. The most rewarding feeling is reaching the top of your destination and absorbing your surroundings and accomplishments. It’s that much sweeter when the scenery is breathtaking, and you never even had to break a sweat!

A great Fall activity to experience with a large group of friends is haunted houses. I have never been someone who enjoys gory, scary movies, but haunted houses are thrilling! When you are thrown into terrifying elements with all of your closest friends, you are bound to make memories that will last you a lifetime.

Whether or not Autumn is a season that you thoroughly enjoy, there are definitely foods and activities for everyone!
