WHO ARE WE?
60 Seconds is an Omics Live! Internship magazine written and managed by student interns from high schools and universities across the United States. We celebrate stories that matter to our generation and yours, while developing our skillsets before entering into a real world career. All articles are tightly written in order to be read in one minute or less.
In recognition of Black History Month, Entertainment writer Aysel Atamdede takes a look at HBO's adaptation of the bestselling novel Lovecraft Country and the importance of Black voices in telling their own stories and subverting harmful tropes.
Sleep is a delicate balance - too much can almost be as bad as too little. Lifestyle writer Surina Patel breaks down exactly why it is important to maintain a healthy sleep schedule, especially for young people. All-nighters might sound smart in theory, but in practice? Not so much.
Fashion writer Elizabeth Tran takes a look at the iconic styles of Jessica Jung: fashion designer, entrepreneur, and singer/songwriter. Jung's luxury fashion brand offers a wide range of styles and accessories, which she established after retiring from her K-Pop life.
