The Awesome Autumn Album

As most may already know, there are soundtracks to every holiday. Christmas is the prime example of this phenomenon, as celebrity singers are often eager to release tracks celebrating the snowy season. Of course, there are classic Halloween songs as well, including “Monster Mash”, “Heads will Roll”, “Thriller”, and the all too familiar “Ghostbusters.”  However, for those who love Halloween for more than just the trick or treating, these songs can be a bit disappointing as the time for which they are relevant is very short. We need more than just a Halloween playlist; we need a fall playlist!

The following songs are not only perfect for the Autumn season, but can be played throughout the entire fall without a second thought from any bystanders. They are not directly fall related, however, they are each mellow and written in a way that represents fall at its best moments. It is sure to bring about nostalgia and tranquility no matter where you go, as well as an appreciation for this magnificent season.

This selection of music includes a variety of artists from a variety of time periods. But the most wonderful part of it all is that not only do they all represent the fall vibe, they are a fantastic beginning to an obsession with an artist someone has never heard of before. Regardless, everyone wants a soundtrack to their life. This collection of songs poignantly encapsulates the feeling everyone gets from Autumn. Whether you are grabbing a pumpkin spice latte, going for a bike ride in the crisp morning air, raking leaves in your backyard, or even hammocking in a cocoon full of blankets, these songs are great to have on hand. All you need is a speaker and YouTube, and you are all set for an afternoon full of sun, songs, fresh and windy air and colorful falling leaves.
