While there is a lot of uncertainty around us, I like to enjoy some of the things that bring me a sense of constancy, with one of them being Kurtis Conner. He’s a Canadian YouTuber and comedian who I’ve been watching since 2014, so I can say I’ve been a proud member of Kurtistown for 6 years. I initially discovered him on Vine when he made videos about One Direction, whom I was completely obsessed with at the time (and whom I still listen to now for nostalgic purposes).
He has a sarcastic sense of humor, editing that goes along with his dialogue well, and content that revolves around reacting to videos, trends, and other viral Internet sensations. If you watch Cody Ko and Noel Miller, their comedy and videos are pretty similar to those of Kurtis. Each week, I can count on Kurtis to be there with a new video for me to laugh along to and to discover some new fads, movies, or people I haven’t heard of before. Last September, I got to see and meet Kurtis at a comedy show, and he is just as personable and down to earth in person as he is online. Honestly, he seems like a pretty cool person to be friends with.
So, if you are looking for a dose of witty humor and can spare about 15 minutes of your time, you should consider watching some of Kurtis’ videos and maybe even subscribe for an extra greeting!
