Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth Tran, and I write for the Fashion + Beauty and Lifestyle tabs at 60 Seconds Magazine.
I am currently pursuing my M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Chapman University, and I previously earned my B.A. in Business Administration / Minor in English from UC Irvine.
In the years between my B.A. and my M.F.A., I worked in the e-commerce industry, where I served as an Email Marketing Manager for an online retailer specializing in consumer electronics. However, since starting the M.F.A. program, I’ve decided to take a step back from the corporate world to focus more on developing myself as a writer and creator.
In addition to the work that I’m doing with 60 Seconds Magazine, I’m also currently writing a young adult novel and a collection of short stories that explore the Asian American identity. In my free time, I like to blog about lifestyle, fashion, and beauty, and I also love playing around with the camera, especially when it comes to product photography and photo editing. This past year, I also dipped my toes into videography and even YouTube!
Aside from my creative pursuits, you can usually find me hunting for exquisitely designed clothes and shoes, guzzling copious amounts of caffeine at a local coffee shop, or planning my next big adventure after scrolling obsessively through Instagram or YouTube.
