Be Spooky Safely

Halloween is one of my absolute favorite times of the year. Although it will be different this year, that shouldn’t stop you from still enjoying Halloween safely!

One of the traditional activities to do is pumpkin carving. If you want to get together with a few friends in person, you can head to someone’s backyard or a park and carve pumpkins. Just make sure everyone has their own space and is wearing a mask! Same thing goes for a movie night. If you have a projector, you can spread out with some friends and enjoy a Halloween movie together.

If you want to do virtual activities, using Scener to watch a film or Zoom while making some spooky treats or crafts is another fun thing to do! I find it relaxing to FaceTime friends whether I’m decking out my room with fall decorations or testing out Halloween makeup looks.

And last but not least, don’t forget the candy. Buy a bag of your favorite sweets, dress up in your costume, and enjoy your Halloween night!

Holidays are meant to be spent with people, and in the past few months, we all have gotten more creative with how we can still incorporate interaction with others in our daily activities. As long as you take the proper precautions and stay safe, there’s no reason why you can’t still enjoy the spooky season to the fullest.
