Hey everyone! Today I wanted to give you a few fantasy recommendations. Ever since I was a kid I’ve always loved fantasy books and movies. I started watching The Lord of the Rings with my dad when I was young and fell in love with the story. J.R.R. Tolkien manages to create a magnificent world with so much detail. He spent years creating a world filled with people, creatures, monsters, and villains, even creating an entirely new language. This series is a true masterpiece and one you need to check out if you haven’t already. Though the books might be hard to get through, the movies are a great option if you prefer them.
Another great series that will always be a classic is Narnia. This is a great one to reread it because it’s easy to follow, as it’s meant for children, but the story still holds so much value and nostalgia. Fun fact, Tolkien and C.S. Lewis used to write together in the same pub in Oxford. That’s where Tolkien told Lewis that he should give up on his story because it didn’t meet the standards Tolkien expected. A few years later though, Lewis tried again and it became a success.
