Seattle may be known for its’ gloomy weather, but it’s one of the most exciting cities and there’s so much to explore. From strolling through art museums to kayaking on Lake Washington, you may need more than just a few days to do it all!

If you want to…

  1. Shop
    – Head to 5th Avenue & Pine Street for some amazing retail therapy. You can sip on a fresh coffee from the many cafes lining the streets (not to mention, the first ever Starbucks located at Pike Place Market).
University Village is a beautiful outdoor mall with many shops as well.
Pike Place Market of course! There’s many opportunities to buy handmade foods, jewelry, clothing, and fresh fish!
  2. Hike
    – Washington has some of the most beautiful hikes. With luscious greenery heading up to a striking view, the hike is always worth it. There’s Snoqualmie falls, Cherry falls, Rattlesnake Ridge, and much more. But these will be outside the city so you will need a vehicle.
  3. Sightsee and explore
    – Lucky Seattleites get an amazing view from multiple locations. Of course, there’s the famous Space Needle where you can see the whole city from above. Also check out the Columbia Center; it’s the tallest building in Seattle so head on up if you’re not afraid of heights! Plus you can see Mount Rainier from the top.
    – Museums include: The Museum of Flight, Museum of Pop Culture, Chihuly Garden & Glass, etc.
  4. Be around water
    – Rent some kayaks/canoes/paddle boards and float around Lake Union!
    – Have a picnic at Gas Works Park where there’s numerous sailboats and beautiful hills.
    – if you’re feeling extra adventurous, hop on a ferry that can take you to Friday Harbor,   San Juan Islands, Victoria, and many other places.
