Review: One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time follows a Cuban-American family as they deal with it all: PTSD, divorce, racism, and so much more. Despite going through all of this, they still are able to take the time to make each other laugh and have a blast with family and friends.

The show has the perfect array of characters, all with a great dynamic. For example, the tired, overwhelmed single mother is contrasted by the eccentric, sassy, grandma. And The hot- headed, rebellious teenager is balanced out by her easy going little brother. Every viewer will find relatability with at least one character.

One Day at a Time has just the right amount of humor in the midst of dealing with serious issues.
