My name is Audrey and I am a business marketing student in my third year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. They say SLO is the happiest city in the world, and I can say that is a fact, so if you haven’t gotten the chance to visit put it on your list of to-do’s! I currently write for the Lifestyle, Fashion & Beauty, and Music tab here at 60 Seconds Magazine, as well as work for my school’s advertising sales staff and international center. Needless to say, when I’m not at the beach I definitely have a few things keeping me busy. I grew up in Northern California with three older siblings, which helps explain how I am currently living in a house of six girls.
A deep passion of mine is music, and I can attribute this to my mom who insisted that my siblings and I learn classical piano and music theory from ages 6 to 12. Only years later was I able to appreciate the immeasurable impact that this had on my life and my understanding of music. More recently, I was fortunate enough to spend my previous fall quarter in Seville, Spain where I was also able to further develop my skills of the Spanish language. Those months spent away from home pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me understand that experiencing as many different perspectives is something that I plan to prioritize throughout my life!
