Hi readers! This week’s article will be a little different… it’s a little self bio! So if you didn’t know, my name is Fiona Wong. I am majoring in business-marketing at Chapman University, where I just finished my third year of college as a new transfer student.
I’ve lived in Southern California my whole life and I’ve loved every second of it! Of course, one of my favorite places to spend my free time is the beach–Laguna is the best! Although I’ll always love sunny SoCal, being able to travel and see other parts of the world is something I truly treasure. One of my favorite trips is the time I backpacked in Europe for 2 months! Right after my 19th birthday, I set off to Europe with my cousin, having only our huge 40 liter backpacks. This was such a profound experience that I’ll never forget! We visited over 20 countries, saw so many beautiful sights, ate delicious food, and met so many amazing people. Backpacking has become one of my preferred choices of travel because of how affordable and interesting the whole journey is.
I have also been able to travel to many other parts of the world with friends and family which I have equally enjoyed. The next location on my list would have to be Argentina! I would definitely love to see the Patagonia mountains and also the penguins on the coast.
