In a world filled with fast food, packaged meals, and sugary drinks on every corner, eating healthy can feel impossible. But with the right mindset and some easy hacks, it will be a piece of cake to eat healthy! Here are some tips I’ve learned for eating as healthily as possible.

1. Eat healthy foods you enjoy! 

You don’t have to eat just boring salads to be healthy. I personally love sweet potatoes, fruits, broccoli, and other whole foods. There are a million ways to incorporate those into delicious recipes. Hello, Pinterest!

2. Make healthy food swaps for your favorite meals.

For example: instead of regular sugar-filled brownies, look up a recipe for sugar free brownies—or even black bean brownies to get an extra dose of protein!

3. Make healthy eating easy with three-ingredient meals.

Shoutout to Pinterest once again, there are tons of recipes for three-ingredient meals, making your life easier.

4. Add vegetables to every meal somehow.

The only thing you can never have too much of is vegetables! Blend them into smoothies, cook it with your meals, or even bake them into baked goods.

5. Eat a slice of cake.

It’s VERY important to treat yourself every once in a while, so if you want a slice of cake, go for it!
