Spring Clean Your Classwork for Finals!

Spring break has come and gone, meaning we’re that much closer to summer. But before we can spend our days tanning by the pool, we have to make it through our classes—more specifically, our dreaded finals.

The end of the year is approaching rapidly, so while you spring clean your wardrobe, it’s a good idea to start organizing your class notes as well. Take an extra minute to collect your handouts from each class and put them in one place along with your notes. While you’re at it, skim over them, taking note of certain lessons or concepts you don’t understand. That way if you have any questions you can visit your professor during office hours (yes those are real). Who knows, after visiting your professor, they might just give you brownie points when your grade is right on the cusp of that A. And all of those tests that you got back and immediately threw away? See if your study partner has them or if the professor has an extra copy, because often times professors will reuse questions from previous tests on the exam.

Finals are hectic enough without frantically trying to find your Econ notes a week before the exam. By taking the time beforehand to organize your class materials, you will save a lot of added frustration when finals roll around. This way you’ll have all of your notes to study and try and make up for the fact that you really should have paid better attention during your 8 am.
