As the weather cools down and your sundresses retire for the year, it becomes time to bring out the boots and cozy sweaters of the season. Each year, there are certain winter trends that never go out of style. For me, the key to maintaining this style is to wear anything that keeps me warm, comfortable, and confident.
After visiting Italy and noticing how the Italians manage to look stylish and warm, I was inspired to create my own effortless style. My first winter favorite is wearing a beanie or knit hat, as it keeps your head warm and looks cute in the frosty weather. It looks adorable with any outfit and just screams holiday season.
Wearing velvet is also perfect for any occasion. You can dress yourself up with a velvet dress or just keep it low key with a velvet hair bow. Whenever I add velvet to my outfit, I feel like Clara from The Nutcracker.
Throwing on a sherpa is also a great way to keep yourself warm no matter how cold the weather gets. Sherpas make you feel like you are in a cloud, plus you look so cozy that others may want to join in on the trend. It really is the best of both worlds.
