A Sweet Guide to Sweets in Nashville

Whether you’re a tourist or a full-time resident of Nashville, Tennessee, finding a good dessert place can be hard. Luckily for you, I’ve compiled a list of three absolutely classic dessert stops downtown. These spots will not only satisfy your sweet tooth but also make your hipster heart soar.

1. NoBaked Cookie Dough

Located on 28th Avenue North near Centennial Park, this little eatery has all the elements of an ice cream parlor parlor but with edible cookie dough instead of your basic dessert. It has the aesthetics to match, too, with white brick walls, pink neon lights, and sprinkles galore!

2. Elliston Place Soda Shop

You can find your classic burger and fries combo at this throwback diner, along with soda and milkshakes for days. Complete with jukeboxes, red bar stools, and pies that rival Sonic, Elliston Place’s themed atmosphere will make sure you have a good time as well as a good burger.

3. King of Pops

Usually parked on 12th Avenue South, King of Pops is possibly the best popsicle cart in the history of all time (though I might be biased). This street side stop sells flavors ranging from apple cider to cookies and cream—the latter of which, by the way, includes whole cookies. But if the popsicles don’t meet your standards, the bright rainbow umbrella is still sure to make your day.

Wherever you end up eating in Nashville, you’re bound to have a good time. Just make sure the heat doesn’t melt your frosty treat!
