Traveling Smart

Traveling in the summer is more than fun, but it has its challenges. Over the years, I have picked up a few tips and tricks to keep myself organised when traveling abroad. From organisation to entertainment, I have compiled a list of summer essentials for easy and efficient traveling!

I cannot emphasise enough just how important it is to keep all travel documents in check. That is why I would recommend always having a passport organiser, so you can keep your identification documents, keys, and extra cash in the same place. For those who easily lose things (both in and out of the backpack!), this passport organiser is a must. Not only is it extremely affordable, but it will also make traveling a lot easier.

To capture the good memories, I always bring a camera with me when I travel. Yes, phones exist, but they often die moments before a good view. Furthermore, they are not as competent in taking good quality pictures. However, be aware that a camera is extra weight.

Last but not least, keeping yourself entertained while you’re waiting at the airport after a delayed flight can be a challenge, but not one that cannot be overcome with a kindle. Kindles are so convenient, as they’re essentially an entire library in a one pound device. Some book recommendations for summer reading are Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng, and The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan.

Happy traveling!
