After the holidays, we’re supposed to feel refreshed and ready for the new semester. The new year creates a chance to start again. However, sometimes school gets the best of us, and the new semester jitters begin again.
It’s a feeling we all are familiar with. We all want to do better this semester than we did the last. And, with time comes change. A new semester means one step closer to graduation and all that “freedom” that goes along with it. All these things can cause a great deal of anxiety within us. Nonetheless, it’s important to remember to take a deep breath and tell yourself that everything will be okay. With proper planning and organization, you will succeed in all your endeavors.
Something I always try telling myself is that there is no point in stressing if you’re going to get it done anyway. Whenever you find yourself in a stressful situation this semester, remember to breathe and rationalize the problem in front of you. It’s essential to tackle any task when relaxed. Believe in yourself and trust that everything will make sense in the end. Good luck!
