Even in 2021, the world needs to do better regarding diversity. In particular, I’m talking about wage gaps.
As society progresses, more and more companies and job fields are becoming more lenient with allowing unnatural hair colors, piercings, and tattoos in the workforce.
Although it has improved tremendously in the past few years, women are still treated unfairly in the workforce.

We don’t always think about the difference between diversity and inclusion in the workplace. This can slowly begin to negatively impact the community of employees because it’s easy to interpret these two terms as synonyms, even though that’s not the case. The first step to making positive, diverse changes is understanding this major difference and applying it.
According to Google, microagressions are “indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination against members of a marginalized group.”
