Sustaining Online Relationships

With everyone being home we can no longer go out to meet friends, family, or significant others. Although this is all temporary and we must all stay positive, it can also be hard to maintain those relationships when there is no way of knowing when we’ll be able to meet up in person.

Luckily, we live in a time where we can call and text people through all kinds of social media platforms and apps. Make sure to dedicate time to all the people that are important to you. If you’re in a relationship, I’m sure you’ve been talking to your significant other more than other friendships. While this is fine and a great way to stay in each other’s daily lives, I encourage you to reach out to your friends as well because I’m sure they miss you.

If you’re not in a relationship right now, you’re most likely keeping up with your closest friends, but I urge you to reach out to those friends you don’t normally talk to. We’re all facing stress and uncertainty, so it would be nice to make someone else’s day and show that they have your support as well.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying positive. We will be okay!
