Happy spooky season! Nights are getting colder, so what better way to spend your nights is there than being wrapped up in a blanket, watching a scary movie? Here are some Halloween essentials to spook your night:

Edward Scissorhands (1990) – A classic 1990’s movie starring Johnny Depp. This movie is the perfect mixture of scary and fantasy. Some parts of the movie are disturbing, but it definitely makes for a good movie night.

Hocus Pocus (1993) – A fun and upbeat Halloween movie featuring 3 witches. This is a more family-friendly movie for a lighthearted night.

Frankenweenie (2012) – A dog that turns into Frankenstein’s monster. This movie is silly but a little sad. There are different versions of this movie, so choose the one that you like best!

Coco (2017) – This movie came out in 2017 and was an immediate hit. I enjoyed this movie a lot. It puts a spin on spooky season by showcasing the beauty of El Dia De Los Muertos. That makes it a happy, vibrant movie for appreciating this time of the month. This movie is heartfelt and tear-jerking.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) – This movie is probably the most classic Halloween movie. If you’ve never seen this, it is a must. Even if you’ve seen it before, you should watch it for the once-a-year Halloween season. This movie never gets old!
