Splendid Study Spots at Chapman!

Keck Center

Although Chapman’s campus is small, there are a bunch of different study spots around campus that provide an extremely relaxing atmosphere for you to work in. If you’re tired of studying in the Student Union or you’ve just been in the library for too many hours, look no further for some great study spot suggestions!

The first spot that I typically go to is the patio on the fourth floor of Beckman Hall. Especially on sunny days, the patio offers a beautiful view of the Piazza and the cool breeze and green vines create a peaceful ambiance. There are tables ready for you to study on and not many people study out here, so if you’re looking for a quiet place to study while getting some fresh air, this spot is perfect for you!

Another spot that I absolutely love studying at is in the Keck building, where there are numerous study places for you to choose from. From the stairs with the colorful cushions to the tables overlooking Wilson Field and the sunset, there is something for everyone’s taste. If you are looking to work on a group project, there are designated rooms for you to use, but if you just want a low-key spot to work on your own, there is no shortage of places to study inside Keck.

The final recommendation I have is the Cross-Cultural Center inside Argyros Forum. It’s never really crowded in here, and there are 4 rooms available for you to book and use. They include large tables to accommodate bigger groups, and you can check out tools to use the TV as a computer to work on. There is everything you need for a comfortable work environment in the Cross-Cultural Center, and the staff is always super friendly!

So, the next time that you are trying to decide where to study, consider choosing one of these spots and hopefully, you’ll love them as much as I do!
