Skincare For a Healthy Glow

Taking care of your skin is an important aspect of maintaining a healthy life. Our skin is our largest organ, so we better be putting only clean products on it. In this article, I will be discussing my 3 favorite products that I use to keep my face happy, healthy, and glowing.

First things first, you want to start your day on a fresh basis. For my face wash, I love using the Tula Probiotic Cleanser. It really gives you that nice clean feeling without stripping away your natural oils that lock in moisture. This face wash is soap-free, therefore, you will not have to worry about skin irritation that comes with over drying your face. Locking in moisture is key because it prevents dry patches from forming while also saving your skin from early aging. There are many face cleansers that are safe for your skin, but Tula happens to be my favorite. I told all of my friends about it and now they are using it in their daily routines. Not to mention, Tula is cruelty free, which is always a plus for everyone.

Second thing I like to do is use a gentle, mild, and calming toner. I happen to use Neutrogena’s toner because it leaves my skin feeling completely clear and ready to soak up my next product. This toner does not contain any alcohol, which can be intensely irritating for your skin. Especially for those with redness and dryness like myself, we want to stay away from alcohol on our faces. Not to mention, this product is affordable and available in most drug stores like CVS or Walgreens. So, no need to spend an outrageous amount of money on skincare products that do just the same for your skin.

Lastly, the final glorious step, moisturizer! This is most definitely my favorite step in all of my skincare routines that I often switch. I use the CeraVe oil-free moisturizer. It is non-comedogenic, therefore you do not need to worry about breaking out while using this product. It is fragrance-free, lightweight, and extremely moisturizing. All you need is a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face. Never forget your neck as well. I had a tendency to often leave out my neck during this step, but thankfully I now include it. Hey, your neck needs some TLC too! In addition to this, I use the CeraVe “Vitamin C Serum” three times a week for a nice glowy finish that really helps improve dark spots that are from post-acne flare-ups. Vitamin C in your skincare is very important because it allows your skin to heal from past irritations.

I hope that you try these products in this order. Your skin will thank you and your confidence will shine through! Although I am eager to try new products, I always return back to these three. Trust me, you will not regret trying out this skincare routine.
