Review: Something In the Water

Chilling, suspenseful, disturbing, all are words that can describe Catherine Steadman’s Something in the Water, a gripping thriller filled with endless twists and turns. When British couple Erin and Mark arrive in Bora Bora on their honeymoon, they discover something in the depths of the ocean that alters the course of their vacation, and ultimately, their lives.

Readers will cringe and eagerly turn the pages as the duo make one bad decision after another, digging themselves deeper into a self-dug hole. Something in the Water is a mastermind of a novel that will ultimately leave you wondering how the protagonists got to the point they’re in, and how they will manage to get out of it.
