Pets: A Human’s Best Friend

It’s crazy how attached we get to our pets and how wholesome it is to have them in our lives. Just last week I got a new kitten and she’s an adorable furball full of energy and curiosity. She’s definitely kept me busy. While pets can be a lot of work, they also come with many benefits. Other than their friendship, you’ll learn responsibility and what it means to take care of another living creature. It takes organizing your day and prioritizing certain things to give your new friend the guidance, love, and care they deserve.

It can be an expensive investment to care for an animal. However, there are pets like birds, hamsters, bunnies, and many reptiles that are less expensive than a dog or a cat, and will require less training as well. I myself have had parakeets, and they were fun and sweet little creatures. Since then I have always been curious to see what it would be like to have a more interactive bird in the house.

Let’s thank our little furry, feathered, and scaly friends for keeping us company and being our loyal companions. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
