Peggy Porschen: Cuteness (and Sugar) Overload!

Beautiful treats in a stunning café located in one of the poshest neighborhoods in London… name something better! Peggy Porschen satisfies every aesthetic and sugar craving a person can have. You can see the bakery a mile away from its uniquely pink exterior adorned with each season’s décor. When my friend Shelby and I stumbled in around late October, the exterior was draped with orange and black flowers and pink skulls! The latte art changes based on the season as well so we were delighted by the spider-web-lace crème atop our drinks.

Cakes are a standard selection of Glorious Victoria, Vanilla Cloud, Lemon Rose, Salted Caramel, and Dark Chocolate Truffle. We ordered the Glorious Victoria and Salted Caramel, splitting the two. Salted Caramel was a clear winner yet both were amazingly sweet and fluffy. Each slice is a steep 6.75 pounds but that’s just London pricing for you.

Besides cake, Peggy Porschen offers an extensive selection of other treats like cupcakes, brownies, macaroons, pie, and more! I definitely recommend coming with friends and ordering a bunch of things to split as it’s so hard to just choose one thing! Keep in mind that space is very limited for this tiny bakery so be prepared to wait in a bit of a line for a table, especially on the weekends. We skipped the line by coming on a weekday afternoon! Peggy’s is open seven days a week from 8am-8pm in Belgravia, London. There are no reservations and each table is allotted one hour of use.

On any trip to London, you will probably find yourself checking out Buckingham Palace. Peggy Porschen is only a small walk away from there. Be sure to treat yourself to an aesthetic and culinary delight after trekking through the grounds of Buckingham!
