New Movies That Are Worth Seeing

I have quite a lot to say on this subject. First of all, as a student at the University of Southern California, I was lucky enough to see the new Avengers movie, Endgame, early. At USC I’m enrolled in a Film Symposium class that allows students to view movies before their release date. Aside from this advantage, believe me, this movie is worth waiting for. The movie stars include the mainstream, incredible Avengers: Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and of course…Robert Downey Jr, as Iron Man.

However, this is no ordinary Avengers film. Endgame incorporates special appearances from all different Marvel films to make the movie an incredibly unqiue, amazing experience. Be prepared to see Guardians of the Galaxy, Spiderman, Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Ant Man, and their newest edition… Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. Basically, this is the film that ties together all the Avengers adventures, and, as far as we know, puts an end to the original series. Hence the name, Endgame.

Looking for more upcoming 2019 films? Well, I haven’t seen these yet but here’s what I’m waiting for: Dumbo, Aladdin, and The Lion King.

Each of these films have a special place in my heart. I’m sure many can relate, as they remind me of my 90’s childhood. Instead of cartoons, these films are now CGI based. In the cases of Aladdin and Dumbo, they include real people rather than animations. Similar to the newest Jungle Book, these films are taking a new turn on old, classic Disney stories. What’s there not to be excited about?

Look out for these release dates:

Avengers: Endgame- April 26, 2019

Dumbo: March 29, 2019

The Lion King- July 19, 2019

Aladdin- May 24, 2019
