Nails, Yoga, and a Healthy Day Off

On your days off, it can be hard to figure out what to do with the sudden amount of free time. Luckily, there are plenty of simple ways to spend your hours both productively and soothingly.

One great way to start a day off is to engage in some yoga! Whenever I have the time to do what my heart desires, my friends and I meet at a studio and practice Corepower Yoga together. When I don’t feel like driving to the studio, however, I do my own yoga routine right in my room. By doing this, I immediately feel refreshed, revitalized, and rejuvenated.

After a productive amount of time spent doing yoga, I recommend pampering yourself with a day at the nail salon. Nothing feels better than a nice pedicure, treated cuticles, and a color that compliments your mood to top it off. After a long week of classes, work, and everything in between, being able to look down at your nails and smile is more rewarding than you realize. I personally always feel clean and put together when I’ve just got my nails done!

Regardless of if you choose to spend your day off with yoga and a day at the salon, be sure to spend your hours wisely. The simplicity of spending your free time with yourself is unbelievably healthy your overall well-being and happiness. Plus, who doesn’t love a good manicure?
