Today I would like to inspire any readers out there with my picks for the top young adult fantasy books you should read. All of these books are filled with action, adventure, romance, and a touch of magic!
First, I’d like to talk about Fable by Adrienne Young. This book takes place in a different world and follows 17-year-old Fable, who’s known the sea her entire life. After being abandoned by her father, she has to work in order to survive and one day get back to him. On her journey, she meets West, a young trader, and together they l face dangers and work to stay alive.
Next, I’d like to talk about a seven-book series by Sarah J. Maas. The first book is called Throne of Glass and is also set in a different world. It follows Celaena Sardothien, a trained assassin who signs up to compete to work for the king. This series is one you won’t want to miss!
Finally, I want to talk about The Selection by Kiera Cass. This series takes place in the future where monarchies have been reinstated. In this world, thirty-five girls are chosen to compete for the prince’s hand in marriage. America Singer, the main character, wants no part in it but is placed in the Selection anyway. This book is pure entertainment and you won’t be disappointed.
