Leopard on Leopard

A certain pattern has recently found its way into my wardrobe: leopard print. Leopard print has definitely been a favorite of the fashion world, both in the past and present. But for me, it is a newfound affection.

I never was really drawn to leopard print in the past. In my opinion, it was never done correctly, being either too flashy or just plain ugly. But times change and so do styles. One day when I was online shopping on Missguided, scrolling through the new items that had just come in, I came across two of the cutest skirts I had ever seen—and they were leopard print!

I felt conflicted because in my mind I was stuck on the fact that I always considered the print to be flashy, but my eyes and heart now said something completely different. I was absolutely in love with the skirts and because of this I was hooked. I guess my eyes and heart won out because before I knew it, I was adding the skirts into my cart. After that I was looking for leopard shirts that would look good with the skirt.

This instance helped me to realize that style is selective and not everyone’s has to be the same. All this time I refused to wear a certain pattern because I had seen an unflattering version of it. However, a purchase of that same pattern turned out to be one of my best.
