Last-Minute Halloween Costumes

Dressing up and wearing familiar or extraordinary costumes is one of the most exciting parts of Halloween! However, sometimes life gets the best of us, and we don’t have a costume ready until the last minute. Here are some outfits that are easy to put together when you are out of time!

Disney Princess
While you can take weeks to prepare an intricately designed Disney princess dress, imitating the outfit’s essential parts is much more manageable. For example, if you want to dress up as Snow White, throw on a yellow skirt, blue top, red bow, and carry around an apple. Needless to say, this option is much less expensive compared to a store-bought dress!

TV Character
When in a time crunch, going for a costume that most people will readily identify is best. One of the most iconic characters in recent television is Eleven from Stranger Things. A white collar, baby pink dress, blue jacket, knee-high socks, and a few boxes of Eggo waffles will create that look. You can also add bloodstains below your nose as a detail!

Cartoon Character
Cartoon characters are very recognizable because they keep the same outfit. So, characters like Waldo from Where’s Waldo?, Minnie Mouse or Winnie the Pooh are easy to emulate. For Waldo, throw on a red and white striped shirt, blue jeans, and a red beanie. For Minnie Mouse, all you really need is the mouse ears and a red dress. Lastly, for Winnie the Pooh put on some bear ears, a red crop top, and a yellow skirt!

All these choices are quick and easy! I hope this list of last-minute costumes helps you out! The most important thing to remember when you are out of time is to choose something simple but focus on the details. Happy Halloween!
