Keeping Our Hair Healthy

Hey everyone, today I want to talk about how to keep our hair healthy. Because my hair has always been frizzy, I’ve struggled as a kid to accept my hair for what it is. The first step in keeping your hair healthy is accepting its strengths and weaknesses; we have to love everything about ourselves. Instead of hiding your curls with a straightener, use hair products that help enhance your curls, making them look bouncy and healthy. Same goes for wavy and straight hair. 

I believe that trimming our hair every 3 to 6 months is important because it allows for your hair to remain and look healthy. They say that cutting your hair regularly also helps it grow, however, my hair doesn’t grow quickly so I have yet to believe this. Nonetheless, I’ve accepted that while my hair might not grow as fast as I want it to, it seems to be shinier. This is because I’m currently using the Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner. This company allows you to create your own shampoo and conditioner so you can target all the specific goals you want for your hair. Another fun aspect I enjoy about this company is the fact that I can choose the scent of the products—my favorite scent they have is peach! I’ve also been using Aussie hair products such as their detangling spray and oil for shine and smoothness.
