Hobbies to Start During Quarantine

Ever since the pandemic started, I have found myself with an abundance of free time. Although it felt amazing to do absolutely nothing for a couple of weeks, I got bored of that routine fairly quickly and decided that quarantine was the perfect time to try new things and find new hobbies. I know that many people are getting frustrated with not being able to do much right now, so I thought I would share the hobbies that I have started to hopefully motivate and encourage more people to try new things!

1. Working out

I’ve never been an active person, but after seeing so many people build their dream bodies over quarantine, I decided to sign up for a gym membership, and I quickly fell in love with the feeling that I got after sweating my butt off in the gym.

2. Yoga

If working out isn’t for you, but you still want a way to be active and clear your mind, I suggest trying yoga. It may be difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it can be very relaxing.

3. Reading

Reading is the perfect activity to try when you’re feeling lazy but want to stimulate your brain instead of mindlessly watching TV or spending time on social media. It’s also a great way to escape reality for a while and become immersed in a different world.

4. Finding new music

For people who love listening to music, finding new music is like finding a treasure chest. When I want to expand my music library, I spend hours searching for new music on Apple Music and Spotify. Some people might think this is a waste of time, but I see nothing wrong in indulging in something that makes me happy every once in a while.
