Healthy Eats and Habits

Staying healthy is hard to do. This holds true especially in the winter, when all you want to do is stay inside and binge eat junk food. Luckily, there are plenty of healthy snacks out there to help you stay healthy during these hardships.

Eating cottage cheese with peaches is just one such yummy snack. Adding cereal such as
Honey Bunches of Oats also makes it taste so much better. Another snack that could even pass as breakfast is any type of shake. My favorite shake happens to be a strawberry milkshake–and adding oats to it only makes it ten times better.

Besides obviously eating healthy, just cutting out your unhealthy habits works as well. Cutting
out junk food, soda consumption and laziness could be the key to keeping you healthy. Anytime you feel the urge to take a nap or reach for a bag of chips, snap out of it! Go outside and take walk instead. Stretch, do yoga, do anything that keeps you up instead of watching Netflix and laying in bed. Instead of eating chips, eat a granola bar. Instead of drinking coffee, drink some hot tea–coffee is overrated, anyway.

There are many ways to stay healthy, but it all starts with you. If you want to put down
those chips and go out to walk, do it. No one controls you but yourself. Trust me, I know it is hard to eat healthy, but if I can do it, so can you!
