Halloween Movies, With a Twist

The art of movie-watching has been diminishing slowly as streaming has been the topic of interest for the past few years. Moviegoers everywhere know there is nothing better than sitting in a theater with popcorn and a soda getting ready to watch the newest film released. Some say theaters are overrated and drive-ins are too much of a hassle. If only there was an outdoor theater that provided the same luxuries as an indoor theater.

If you are looking to extend your Halloween celebrations, fret no further; Rooftop Cinema is the place to be this fall season. With three locations around the Los Angeles area, it’s only a short commute to this adventurous new setting.

Rooftop Cinema has been showing Halloween films during September and October at all their locations. From Hocus Pocus and The Conjuring to new movies like Smile and even Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Rooftop Cinema provides the whole experience with comfy Addarondak chairs, Halloween-themed lights and decor, and clean noise-canceling headphones. You even get delicious popcorn included in your ticket purchase.

Check out the Halloween adventure waiting for you at the Rooftop Cinema. This week they will be showing Hocus Pocus, Scream, Halloweentown, The Exorcist, and more. Showing times range from 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Parking is free and provided. I recommend arriving 15 minutes early to get checked in and get concessions.

There is a wide variety of snacks and drinks that can be bought at the concession stand, and complimentary popcorn is provided. It is BYOF if you are looking to bring your favorite movie dinners to make your movie experience feel just like home. Seats are first come first serve even with upgraded seats. Lastly, if you are running a few minutes late to the screening do not panic, they will still let you in to enjoy your evening.
