Gluten-Free Goodies

The unfaltering trend of going gluten-free hasn’t faltered in these past few years. Some prefer it just to ease their carbs, some have celiac disease, and some just have an intolerance. There’s nothing wrong with gluten but if it bothers your body, it’s best to avoid it. Amongst the fluffy loaves of bread and doughy cookies on every corner, it may seem impossible to stray away from the gluten haven. But fear not, there are plenty of ways to enjoy treats as well as full meals, without having to eat gluten.

Here are some products I love to use that are delicious, easy to incorporate into recipes, and will make you forget you ever craved gluten.

Banza Chickpea Pasta

This is by far the best gluten-free pasta I’ve had in my many years of testing brands. It’s perfect because it tastes al dente and doesn’t become mushy after cooking, the way a lot of rice pastas do.

Almond flour

Many cookie recipes call for this flour and it’s so tasty. It’s dense, so it makes the baked good that it’s used in taste really decadent.

Trader Joe’s GF Snickerdoodles

These are also dairy-free which is another plus if you’re avoiding dairy as well. They’re soft, cinnamon-y, and you can snatch ’em right out of the package.

Van’s GF Waffles

These taste just like normal waffles! I love mine with almond butter or honey. Easy go-to breakfast right here.

Trader Joe’s GF Bread

This gluten-free bread tastes best toasted, for a sandwich or just as plain toast! It has great texture too, because it’s not too dry.
