Fork and Salad

Since opening in late June 2019, less than 4 months ago, Fork & Salad has situated itself as a lunchtime favorite for Orange residents and visitors. Stationed at 240 W Chapman Avenue, bordering Lemon Street and just west of the picturesque Orange Plaza Square Park, Fork and Salad is in an ideal location for the students and employees who work nearby. It’s still accessible for those who arrive by car; there is a free, public parking lot across the street.

The Caesar salad is an always-good classic, while the Lemon and Thyme Chicken sandwich has a mango dressing that is perfect for those wanting to try something with a kick. Their best item might be the Watermelon and Feta Salad. The Watermelon and Feta Salad is perfectly sweet, combining watermelon, tomatoes, dried cranberries and feta, and balanced out with savory cashews and balsamic vinaigrette.

Patrons can also use the factory-style line of food to make their own salad, or choose from one of the two hearty grain bowls. Fork & Salad is family-friendly, and the kids menu includes a quesadilla, grilled cheese, or shrimp and quinoa for the adventurous little eater.

Fork & Salad offers a comfortable ambience for eating inside, complete with wooden tables and chairs the same green color as their logo. If the tables inside are packed, as they typically are during peak lunch hours, there are also wooden tables set up outside. They have umbrellas to help block the SoCal sun and, despite being next to the parking lot, boast a peaceful and aesthetic atmosphere.

Fork & Salad is the perfect spot for a deliciously healthy meal and a refreshing cup of lemonade.
