Finding Little Free Libraries

If you’re a book lover, then you might have heard of a company called Little Free Library. They create little mailboxes and place them randomly in front of parks, neighborhoods, and even houses. When you find one, you can pick up used books that people drop off and replace them with your own books that you don’t want anymore.

I discovered Little Free Libraries a while back and have loved them ever since. It’s a great concept that promotes reading and a sense of community. It’s also a great way to recycle our favorite books and let others have a chance at reading something new for free. It’s always so exciting to see what treasures you might find and the discoveries you’ll make about your community. I saw two today, and while one was filled with cookbooks, the other held fantasy and mystery novels. It’s wonderful the array of genres people are interested in.

Overall, I think this is a magical way to inspire others to read and spread the love for literature. I also wish that there were more little libraries where I live, as there are only a few, but maybe soon that can change!

If you’re interested in searching if any of these libraries are near you, here is the link to the map feature on their website
