Exercise Bike and Lilly Sabri

Working out has always been a huge part of my life. I used to be a gymnast in elementary and middle school; however, I had to quit halfway through high school after an ankle injury. It was difficult at first to find good at-home workouts to do, but over the past few years, I have found some favorites that make me feel fit and healthy.

One of the best workouts to do is to go for a run. Whether that be at a local track or just around your neighborhood, it is always good to get your heart rate up and your blood pumping. However, I personally can’t run as much anymore due to my ankle. I recently purchased an exercise bike, and I love it. It is the perfect way for me to still get my cardio without straining my ankle. Every morning, I blast music and go on the exercise bike for 15 minutes. Not only do I get some cardio, but it also helps me feel energetic for the day.

I’ve recently found a YouTuber, Lilly Sabri, who posts workout videos and challenges for her followers. Most of her workout videos are under 10 minutes, but they are intense, and you can see results quickly. For instance, I once did her 7-minute arm workout for three weeks, and I found myself much stronger in a short amount of time. She also has a 7-minute summer abs workout that I love as well. Her videos are inclusive of people who both have and don’t have equipment at home.

Working out is a great way to de-stress and allow yourself to feel healthier and more energized. There are many online resources for those wanting to get into a new workout routine and for those who want to spice up their workout a little too.
