Finding motivation to eat healthy can be difficult, especially when we’re at home surrounded by snacks. You can also find yourself being too lazy to cook anything, which ends up in ordering food for take-out or delivery. Although it is rather difficult, eating healthy while in quarantine can be done!

With all this time on our hands, it can be a great time to learn how to cook! This can even become a fun new hobby for you. I myself have found joy in cooking and trying new recipes. I think that eating something I cooked myself is much more rewarding than ordering food. Not knowing what to cook is usually the biggest problem, but with the internet, the options are endless! There are so many healthy recipes that you can follow online and they’re usually pretty simple, using simple (and healthy) ingredients. I like to use this website called Supercook.com, which prompts me to select all the ingredients that are in my kitchen and lists recipes that I can make with them! It’s super helpful and can be a fun way to make meals with what you already have.

Motivating yourself to eat healthy can be a struggle during times like these, but in order to do so, we must look at the overall benefits. Eating healthy is great for your mind and body; consuming clean ingredients can make you feel good and strong. Diet is so important because it affects every part of your body. We all want to maintain good health, and eating clean is one of the most crucial ways that we do this.
