Recently, I’ve started to really enjoy making smoothies. They’re a great way to get your daily vitamins and increase vitality and strength in your diet. Here are two smoothie recipes that I’ve tried and loved:
Recipe for detox:
- Start with 8-10 oz of coconut milk
- Add 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- Add 1 tbsp of coconut butter
- Add a packet of matcha
- Add 1 cup of greek yogurt
- Add ½ a banana
- Add ¼ cup of mint leaves (preferably fresh)
You can exchange or take out the ingredients as you see fit, but I promise you’ll love it! The next smoothie is a good one to drink on a daily basis. Filled with nutritious ingredients, you won’t be disappointed.
- Start with 10-12 oz of coconut milk
- Add 2 tbsp of chia seeds
- Add 1 tbsp of flax seeds
- Add 1 tbsp of peanut butter or almond butter
- Add 2 tbsp of hemp seeds
- Add ¼ cup of pineapple or blueberries (or both!)
- Add ½ a banana
- Add a pinch of salt (this brings out the natural sweetness from the ingredients without having to add more sugar)
