Declutter Your Space

Ah, the flowers are blooming, the rain has seeped away, and priorities of life are in full swing. Springtime is like a second chance at New Year’s resolutions. We may have given up or lost some fire in us for keeping up with our goals, but now is the time to re-evaluate and check back in.

Cleaning up your space and home is the first step to success in all aspects. If you are at peace with your environment, you are more likely to tackle that to-do list each and every day. You won’t have to be searching for your phone like a treasure hunt in your bedroom where a tornado of clothes somehow landed.

When you get rid of the clutter and mess, internally and externally, you can worry about the things that matter more: school work, friends, family, and living life itself! There’s so much to do already, so the last thing you need is a mess on your hands.

Don’t worry about finishing all of your cleaning quickly; consistency is key. So make little goals to complete daily. Make your bed, clean up the clutter on your desk, or do your laundry. It will all add up and your fresh new space will give you peace.
