Protein Oatmeal: This is a delicious, filling, and healthy breakfast idea! Simply mix oats, protein powder, egg whites, and chia seeds, and microwave for 2 minutes at 30-second increments. Then, top with your favorite toppings like fruit, honey, granola, nuts!
Avocado Toast: Nothing is better than a tasty & savory toast to kick start your morning! Avocados are extremely healthy for you, as they are packed with healthy fats and fiber. To assemble, mash ½ an avocado, squeeze ¼ – ½ of a lemon, add salt, pepper, and paprika. Then, you take this mixture and spread it on your toast! For some kick, add chili peppers on top.
Breakfast Bowl: What better way than to start your day off with a nice, warm, flavorful bowl? Cook some potatoes and layer them as the base of your bowl. Add your protein of choice (chicken, sausage, eggs, beans, tofu) and some veggies (my personal favorites are mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions). If you want some spice, don’t forget that hot sauce!
Breakfast Burrito: Lay out your tortilla. Fill it with sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, basil, and a scrambled egg. Wrap it up, and serve it on a plate with salsa and guacamole!
Protein Mug Cake: For those who love to kickstart their day with something sweet, this is the recipe for you! Take 40g of flour, 20g protein powder, ½ tsp of baking powder, and combine. Then, add 50g of either pumpkin puree or mashed banana to the mixture. Finally, add ½ – ¾ cup of water, then bake it in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes. Add your favorite toppings as a final touch – fruits, nuts, granola, yogurt, chocolate syrup.
