Brands that Support the LGBTQ+ Community

June is National Pride Month! There are a number of fashion and beauty brands that dedicate the entire month of June to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Here are some of my favorite brands that are making a difference in the community:

1. Abercrombie & Fitch

I’ve always been a fan of Abercrombie & Fitch and their super comfortable t-shirts and jeans. Since 2010, though, I’ve come to respect the brand even more; with their influence in the fashion industry, Abercrombie & Fitch has donated over $1 million to The Trevor Project. In 2019, the brand has even extended its collaboration with The Trevor Project to a year-round partnership. In addition, Abercrombie & Fitch’s 2021 Pride Collection, which was co-created with The Trevor Project, will be available online year-round to further support the LGBTQ+ community.

2. Me-est Me Journal

I’ve really been into journaling this year, and one journal brand that stands out to me is the Me-est Me Journal. The brand is female-founded and LGBTQ+-owned. The journal prompts and action items encourage self-discovery and acceptance. In the month of June, 10% of profits from each journal sold will be donated to The Ally Coalition.

3. Fabletics

Fabletics is donating 10% of net proceeds from their new, limited-edition pride capsule to the It Gets Better Project, whose mission is to uplift, empower, and connect the LGBTQ+ youth around the globe. Fabletics also has a limited-edition pride capsule, which features pieces that inspire self-love and support for our LGBTQ+ community.
