Advantageous Apps

Not all apps are created equal. In fact, some are designed to help you. The following is a list of useful apps to know. They could be used for school, work, or just daily life.

Duolingo- This is a fun and interactive way to learn a language. It features more than 20 languages and allows you to learn by reading, writing, and speaking. Perfect for on-the go studying, when you’re bored, or taking a language class in school. The app is currently free with occasional ads.

Quora- This app is like Yahoo Answers but more innovative and better for inquiring minds. Questions range from simple to scientific. The content is for mature users, as more “out there” questions can be asked. Basically, you can ask just about anything and get answers from the Quora community. Or vice versa. Things get real interesting, real fast. This is social media on another level.

iCal- This app comes with your smartphone and is underrated. Yes it’s a digital calendar but you can do a lot with it. Put in important dates, use it as a planner, and set alerts before an event. This app comes in handy especially if you tend to forget or keep track of things. As long as you have your phone with you, you’ll know when something important comes up.
