A Trip I Can’t Forget

When I went to Naran, Pakistan for the first time the view left me speechless. I loved everything about it. As my car drove towards the valley, from the distance I could see the tiny hotels and shops. There were all kinds of colors. The scene reminded me of the colorful sky during Basant (a kite festival I used to celebrate as a kid). It almost brought tears to my eyes.

Soon we entered the valley, filled with shops and stalls and beautiful lights. There was food everywhere and people too. Everyone was happy. I felt like I was in the Spirited Away market place.

Near the Naran valley is a lake called Saif-ul-Maluk. It is definitely a sight worth seeing. It’s so beautiful that I can’t find the words to describe it, so I’ll show you a picture instead. It’s much more beautiful in person, though. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this place.
